MisterZ ![]() | Called "Mazda Bravo" in Australia. Not necessarily a B-2500 (diesel). A 2.6L petrol B-2600 and 4.0L V6 petrol B-4000 were also offered. All engines were available in the cab chassis body style as well. The Bravo name was dropped in 2006 when the BT-50 replaced it. Built in Thailand. Facelift went on sale November 2002, so could be listed as 2003 model. UPDATE: it seems that from 2005-2006 they were also imported from South Africa (as well as the Ford Courier). I believe only the 4.0L V6 models came from SA. Therefore, without knowing the exact year, the country it's made in should probably be left blank. -- Last edit: 2016-05-15 14:51:12 |

m.pfaffeneder ![]() | That makes me angry, too. Either someone changes some information about the car (as in your case), or someone/something deletes comments, although they´re right. | 2011-07-02 13:42

Nightrider ![]() | However, this particular car supposed to be from LAPD. | 2011-06-18 09:31
Ford_Guy ![]() | It depends. I heard of many agencies paying to overhaul their 1996 Caprices years after they were discontinued because they liked them so much (and didn't like the Crown Victoria quite as much in comparison). I guarantee you will see this on a significant level within the next few years in the United States with the Crown Victoria as the last of the 2011's, and even earlier cars, are overhauled to keep them road-worthy and in top shape. Besides that, it's usually cash-strapped agencies that pay to overhaul their vehicles instead of buying new ones. | 2011-06-18 09:18
Nightrider ![]() | I've heard that some counties prefer to pay for regular overhaul of old cars, rather than buying new ones... | 2011-06-18 09:04
