DidierF ![]() | Hervé Bromberger's![]() police procedural with Raymond Souplex, Jean Debucourt, Dora Doll, Danielle Godet. And time tags, now. (Pfiouh !) And maybe an ex-military Bedford, or Ford F-60 CMP: ![]() |

Very likely pre-WWII French, with a press steel frame. |

| 2013-04-12 17:30

sixcyl ![]() | Looks like protype Taxi from 1945, either Renault Juvaquatre Taxi basis from Escoffier body-work or Peugeot 202 from Guilloré... ![]() |

sixcyl ![]() | Thanks 929V6, but how could be such a prototype running Paris street in 1951? Otherwise, would it means first series of Viva Grand Sport were as the prototype? | 2012-12-17 08:39
DynaMike ![]() | Other early Simca 8 are listed as 1937 models. | 2012-12-17 01:06
DynaMike ![]() | I'd say that's a Renault (almost built-in rear fenders). | 2012-12-17 01:03
DynaMike ![]() | I'm not so sure that this is a 1939 864... Since 1938 the grille had a large central bar, since 1939 the wipers were mounted under the windscreen on the 864. I wonder whether this isn't rather a converted 1937 686 Modane (short wheel base, long doors). | 2012-12-17 01:01
Weasel1984 ![]() | Wow - so many of them with those aftermaket grilles in this film! So common add-on in those times or is it "only a film"? (Rather not the most attractive way to customize the Citroen, no? ) |

sixcyl ![]() | With this grill shape, should be a 6cyl range of 1936 (Viva Grand Sport) if it had integrated head lights in the wings. This one hasn't... -- Last edit: 2012-12-16 23:03:49 |

JCB ![]() | Triumph Speed Twin ? |
2012-12-16 20:20 | ||
DynaMike ![]() | By the length, the position of the rear door handle to the rear fender, and especially by the higher rear roof this is rather a Limousine Familiale 8 Places, or even a Taxi (there seems to be a taximeter). | 2012-12-16 19:17
DynaMike ![]() | Too big and square to be a Traction... My idea would be a 1938/39 Berliet Super-Dauphine [Type VIRP-11] (squareness of the body, absence of the step under the doors (between the fenders), characteristic shape of the rear fender...). Link to "www.google.nl" |
