tore-40 NOAFAIK the 1200 kept the 5-stud wheels, the 4-bolted ones were for the 1500 with disc brakes for 1967. Found one here - don't even bother to comment upon the bumpers.... http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=535777 2013-06-30 23:42
ingo DE:no: No 1967 due the definetely old wheels - except it is a Brazilian made one. They appeared in Egypt, too. I've seen one in Hurghada in December 2001. 2013-06-30 22:46

Yes, thanks to the Egyptian movies I have been adding for the past year or so. :)

(inactive user)Search for بولونيز on Google but no clear view of the badges come up. It seems they are often referred to as Fiat on those pages. 2013-06-24 20:00
Weasel1984 PLThe car (the Seat) was first introduced as "127 Fura", then soon in 1982 it was renamed to "Fura" and in 1983 its front was facelifted a little. So it is 1982 Fura or 1983+ one. 2013-06-24 19:37
Weasel1984 PLI assumed yesterday it is fake "Rally", because of the silver wipers and especially because of the not very rally - narrow track of wheels...
It is good question about the start of assembly in Egypt. The Polish car catalog ("Samochody Świata") says it was in 1973, on the other hand here we see pre-1973 car with strange badges and dated for 1979, what can be a misspelled 1969 maybe(?)...

EDIT: Polish catalog was only a bit wrong - acc. to the Arabic Wiki they started production/asembly of this car in 1972, hence the old design of the one at the pic (in the link I posted above). This way not sure if they were facelifted in Egypt in 1973, perhaps later.

nzcarnerd NZI thought that a Riley would not have looked that big in comparison with the Mercedes but all of the odd details look right for Riley - boot hinges, fuel filler, tail lights etc so I think that it must be. 2013-06-24 10:00
