Baube QCgood to know, i always thought the TSi had grey cladding in all years :) 2020-03-25 17:54
dhill_cb7 US1996-1997. 1993's don't have lower cladding. Shown below. 1994-1995 have grey cladding. 1996-1997 lost the grey and it became body colored.

Another few things to note 1993-1995 have a passenger pentastar emblem on the front fender. 1996-1997 do not. 1996-1997 do not have grey cladding on either trim anymore either. 1996-1997 TSi have black mirrors while 1993-1995 have body colored. Think I covered all the changes.

MisterZ AU
kazimann a écrit Lancer in Europe

Also the European model had a different trunk/boot lid to accommodate the wider license plates. In Australia we had both types - initially the European one from 1996-1997, then the US-style one seen here from 1998 onwards (though it was slightly different as it had a crease line, and wasn't completely flat).

Colour of vehicle above is "New Zealand Green". [CK2] code for 1.5L (DE) Mirage sedans. 1.8L models (LS trim) had [CK5] code. Coupes used CJ2/CJ5 instead.

MisterZ AUS13 model never sold in Australia for some odd reason, but we did get the S15.

I found an old article from 1989 which said that the S13 Silvia was expected in Australia before the end of the year, but sadly, it never happened.
