The opening credits begin with a panoramic shot Île de la Cité en regardant rive droite, then there is this tracking shot rue Soufflot, then an other tracking shot on the Boulevard Saint-Germain, and finally a panoramic in front of the main entrance of the Jardins du Luxembourg —here: /vehicle_789452-Somua-OP5-2-1950.html . The main other notable out-door filming is Place des Victoires, some stuff is probaby shot in the 16th Arrondissement, but I don't know what is the mansion for the final scene. An embassy, probably. |

It was really necessary, 'cause the 6 kids were growing up fast. I'm delighted to learn that I was transported in a (second hand) up-market car (who died about 6 years later, bielle coulée). |

Is the lower half painted in the same colour as the upper half and the bonnet, then it's a Bealieu; is the lower half painted in the same colour as the roof, then it's a Chambord. But since all cars on this parking are up-market I'd say it's a good guess taht this will be a Chambord |
