shervinator ![]() | Because of the front black trim (introduced in 1990), this should be listed as a 1990 Mazda B2600i 4x4. | 2018-11-06 09:49
stevil101 ![]() | It looks like a 1987 or newer model due to the aero styled urethane covered bumper. -- Last edit: 2017-01-20 15:48:54 |

PMEntertainmentLives ![]() | At least one shot of the Pontiac Grand Prix is taken from L.A. Vice (1989), and the shot of the Caprice police car is taken from Coldfire (1990). -- Last edit: 2016-02-26 15:33:29 |

eLMeR ![]() | Single rear axle model were more likely identified as xx42 models (xx being for the BBC length in inches, 42 for 4x2) while tandem rear axle models were xx64 (6x4). With a single vertical bar in the middle of the grille, this truck is a pre-1971 (1961-71?) model. (By the way, the linked truck was set as a 1978 model, which is impossible: the commercial agreement between White and Freightliner ended in 1975) -- Last edit: 2015-08-17 01:18:32 |

Ford_Guy ![]() | Mounting the light bars forward was much more common "back in the day" than it is now. | 2015-08-15 17:52
Ford_Guy ![]() | It is. For that reason, it is a 1987-1989 model as no 1990's were purchased. | 2015-08-15 17:51

rtsbusman1997 ![]() | Some departments do mount the lightbars far forward. And at one point the NYPD did mount their bars far forward. The last time they did it was 1990-1991, with the Aerodynics. My guess is that it makes connecting the electrics to the car's system a lot easier. | 2015-08-15 09:21

fordnmerc ![]() | 1973 Ford Gran Torino....'Gran' was simply a higher trim level. | 2011-02-25 23:24
Snookie ![]() | Gotta question this one since the lightbar sits toward the front of the roof, but I doubt it's authentic, so 1981-1985. | 2009-10-12 00:38
plymouth-guy ![]() | There are actually many differences between the '67-69 models, some are subtle. The sidemarkers are an easy spot as are the tail lamps and decklid appliques (finish panels). Different header panel lettering and nameplates were used during these three year. The grilles and parklamps were different, but harder to spot. The '67 and '68 models had different hood slats and the '69 Formula S was the only sub-model to have (even different) slats. This is, indeed, a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback. |
2009-01-22 06:33 | ||
CorvairJim ![]() | Since this car has no side marker lights, it would be a 1967 model, not a 1968. (Round side markers would make it a '68, while rectangular ones denote a '69.) As far as I know, they're pretty much identical from the outside other than that. | 2009-01-03 02:14
modell ![]() | Well, there seems to be a chase between the Grand Prix and a motorcycle. I didn't include the bike because the picture quality was so bad and it was too blurry. (these images came from a DVD, believe it or not) | 2006-10-15 00:53
ProwlerX ![]() | Any chases? | 2006-10-14 02:21
