rpcm a écrit It's indeed a Maserati, but I think it's a 1957 A6G/54 2000 Coupé by Frua, one of two built. If I'm right, it may be the one built in 1957 with chassis #2194 that was black with a blue stripe and had a blue leather interior. Its whereabouts seem to be unknown.

This is a great find by "sixcyl" and a very good identification by "rpcm", and it is the only photo document for the lost #2194 so far. It documents also that #2194 was a Coupé and not a Spider (as some sources erroneously reported). Thanks a lot!

I have split up my documentation on the 3rd series Frua Maserati A6G into a new page for the two Coupés:
http://www.pietro-frua.de/1956_maserati-coupe.htm

@sixcyl: Is the garage visble from the outside in the movie? I would like to identify it.

stephen CAmy initial thought was Zündapp Bella... but now I don't think it is.
I think it is a Lambretta LD with a massive windshield; the spare tire mount and the shape of the back cowel seems to look like an LD, plus the headlamp is on the legshield rather than the handel bars.

Yvon52 BEnon original light grey colour, as all the post-war 'traction' were black until 1954. [/quote]
