Un homme jeune (Daniel Gélin), acteur frustré mais enquêteur privé en exercice, est chargé par son patron (Noël Roquevert) de suivre une jeune femme (Dany Robin) et d'apprendre tout sur elle, qu'un armateur grec amoureux (Michel Galabru) veut conquérir. La filature, bientôt comédie des erreurs, s'engage à Paris, se poursuit dans le Var et se termine à Cannes, à la plus grande satisfaction du nouveau couple formé pour l'occasion — je ne crois pas "spoiler" gravement en le disant, le ton général du film n'offrait guère d'autres issues. Le "filmage" n'est pas très inventif, l'histoire pas follement originale, certains personnages sont un peu pénibles (celui de Jacques Jouanneau, par exemple), mais le rythme est très bon, il y a des moments de franche rigolade et même des gags subtils. Ce n'est pas mal du tout, et Dany Robin est très très bien, jouant d'ailleurs sur une palette plus large que d'habitude, un peu comme dans La fête à Henriette. La séquence de l'ivresse est par exemple excellente. Avec un peu de chance, ce film connaîtra une édition décente en dvd, ce qui permettra de remplacer mes photos parce que, hein, pardon… Sentimental comedy well paced by an almost permanent pursuit from Paris to Cannes via Provence, with witty dialogs and quite often funny situations. Nothing revolutionary in it, but quite entertaining. And Dany Robin is more luscious than ever. Some interesting vehicles are hidden behind my hideous captures: a big old Citroën, a beautiful French coach (probably a Chausson), an Austin-Healy. Above all, a Dyna. And some American cars, here and there. Edit: seeing the release dates as recapitulated on IMDb, and the "aka"s, it seems this film was not well distributed and is a rarity now. -- Last edit: 2015-01-06 03:38:17 |
