Sunbar UKBy 1982 the TK trucks were primarily the lighter non-HGV trucks TK570, TK750 and TK860 with heavier trucks being special order only. 2020-04-06 20:30
Sunbar UKJCB, thanks for that I was unaware that the TK was upgraded in 1980 to essentially replace the KM.

But from what I can find ... KMs were originally introduced with the range of 14, 15 and 16 tons gross, TK stopped at 13 tons gross.

After 1976 both the TK and KM were available as 14.5 ton gross. The only other KM remained at 16 tons. These being rigid (simple) trucks; the tractor units were similarly over-lapping in specification.

With the introduction of the TL in June 1980 the KM name was dropped and the TK was produced also as a 16 tonner alongside both the 16 ton TL, and 16 ton TM.

JCB UKAll KM's had double front bumpers, they were the top weight Bedford 4 wheeler at 16 tons gross.
See all other IMCDB KM's

Late in Bedford production 1980 the KM was deleted as a seperate range and the TK designation and single bumper was used in all weight ranges up to 16 ton .
So these are TK's

Just to complicate things the higher weight TK's always had 10 stud wheels

dsl SXSure about KM?? Looks like a 69+ choc ice indicators TK with 76+ mirrors, but I've no idea if 10 screws rim means anything significant.
