dsl SX^ No idea - I'm at the end of my knowledge on these. You might like this pick-up and this flickr A70 page. And any thoughts on this Shooting Brake also welcome. 2016-04-10 18:18
Pierre ENI need to get 'Paris Chante Toujours!' on dvd; not only a rich variety of classic vehicles but also the first picture of a Hampshire convertible I can remember seeing.
(Then, there's a two-tone van in 'Dial M' going past as Ray Milland enters the house to be found out over his latch key). imcdb at its very best - fabulous.
Dear dsl, does your research indicate if any Hampshire convertibles or vans survive - or are they awaiting re-creation?

DynaMike a écrit In "Rétromobile" #15 (November 1989) was an advert of a Citroën 23 R coach that is in almost every detail (shape of the wings, of the grille, the chrome decorations around and next to the foglights, the headlights, the extra windows over the windshield) similar to this one, except for one major aspect: the size... Maybe it is possibleto find out about the bodywork via this smaller coach, that had (in 1989) the license plate '66550-Y-31' (from 1951) or 6655-QY-31' (from 1969).
And who made the body of the smaller one, DynaMike?

Here are some of the bodies made by Frappa:

dsl SXI've got book reference to "a small number of Hampshire convertibles were built by at least two different coachbuilders" and that the Amsterdam show cars were Dutch-built. No other details. 2014-05-27 18:46

JavierDiesel ESThat's an Opel Blitz 1,0t, mod. 1936. That was the lightest in the Blitz family (3, 1,5 and 1 ton). This is an early version (1936) as it has the narrow, verical grille. The later versión had the slanted grille, similar in style to his bigger brother. 2012-11-06 20:25
Commander 57 USMost interesting.
Grille at first glance does indeed appear to be of the '53 to '54 Clipper type.
However, the side trim is definitely pre-Clipper and I think with the sharp angle and the distortion through the windshield of the other car, that this must be a '51 to '52 variety 200 or 200 Deluxe.
(Even seems like I might be able to see the PACKARD letters on the hood front.)

Were any different varieties of Packards built for non-USA markets?

Graham Paige USIt is a 1934 Graham 68 six cylinder. The hood lovers are correct. It has been converted to a truck of some sort. The coupe pictured above is incorrectly identified it is a 1934 model 69 8 cylinder. 2009-10-18 07:00

zooter FROnly american Fords were sold as Matford in France in 1937/38. Streamlined headlamps were changed to satisfied " les mines " on those cars. About sealed beam headlamps, most of the american automobiles manufacturers began to use them for the 1940 model year. They had a standardized round shape and from now on, except for some little carmakers like Graham Paige, the automobile industry will not design streamlined headlamps anymore. 2006-10-12 23:51
