kees-jan NLThough there are Panhards in Finland even today, these cars are very rare indeed overthere! The large numberplate doesn't look like the ones on other cars, I also think this car is French

BTW: The overtaking VW and the parked bicycle on the hard shoulder don't do much good for 'road-safety' :)

Nice one!

DynaMike NLIndeed! So it's called 'Pakkettiauto' instead of 'Variant', since it cannot vary in use? 2007-05-30 22:16

Probably a Moskvitch 403 IE like this one:
/vehicle_73944-Moskvitch-403-1962.html

But were they allowed to use that number on export vehicles? Peugeot has a copyright on the middle '0'. That's why we have a Porsche 911 and not 901 as originally intended.

wrenchhead USDynaMike, You could be right. Those horizontal lights fooled me once. The MGA 1600 MKII had lights like that - see /vehicle_10915-MG-A.html 2007-05-30 18:06

car nerd USI believe this looks like a 1965 Chevrolet Chevy II. The dual tail light design was a feature of the 1965 model year. 2007-05-30 17:21

pilou BECould be a 1962 Chevy II but also a 1962 Canadian "Acadian" built by Pontiac's division of General Motors Canada on the Chevy II base .Those were also exported to the Scandinavian markets in the early sixties.Unfortunately no side view of the car is available that would allow for better distinction . 2007-05-30 17:03
DynaMike NL:) Triple taillights, heavy chrome mouldings: PL17 Grand Standing [L1] 1960, or [L4] 1961-1962. The difference is not visible from the rear (position of front indicators and the way the front doors open). 2007-05-30 16:59
