| Ford_Guy | Yes, I know. Often times, especially in bigger departments, cars are put in service fairly "late." This is due to the time between ordering the cars, having them delivered, painted, up fitted, and delivered to the individual patrol stations. It would not be too far-fetched to assume that this 1997 model did not enter service until sometime in 1998, which is when this scene was probably filmed. The release date for this movie is listed as April of 1999, and I'm certain that it would have been filmed in 1998. Then again, it could just be stock footage taken early on in the production. Who knows... |
