supcoach ![]() | 1946 models were dubbed D-24 and divided into 2 series, DeLuxe and Custom. No specific model names. | 2020-08-26 00:46
Dmitry_P ![]() | Class: Convertible? | 2018-07-19 07:23
Lateef ![]() | Looks like the protruding taillights, so an early one. | 2016-12-11 13:25
Commander 57 ![]() | Remarkably immaculate condition for its age. | 2011-11-29 14:14
pilou ![]() | 1946-48 Dodge Custom 4 door sedan ( D-24) | 2011-11-29 14:05
rjluna2 ![]() | I see that this one does not have the sealed beam headlights. | 2011-11-28 00:07
electra225 ![]() | I suspect a Peugeot but I'm not sure at all ! | 2011-11-27 23:49
Commander 57 ![]() | Hold the phone! In this better view, I am no longer able to conclude this is a President. What I thought were rear door vent windows on the other, linked page I now see is just the edge of the rear side window frame. While this is a Regal-trimmed model, it could be a Champion, Commander or President. Cannot see the quarter panels well enough to see what sort of nameplate is or isn't there. It almost looks as if there is no nameplate at all, which would make this a Champion. Can we get a closer view? -- Last edit: 2011-11-27 22:26:05 |

sixcyl ![]() | ![]() Annie Girardot Monaco in 1956... with less concrete than nowadays! ![]() Interesting pictures of Lille, when it had its complete tramway network, only Lille-Roubaix-Tourcoing still remaining in service. ![]() |

DynaMike ![]() | 1936: http://dvole.free.fr/matford/catalo36.htm 1937: http://dvole.free.fr/matford/catalo37.htm I think this is a 1937 model, otherwise the separate headlamps would have been visible in the thumbnail. For sure it is the small 13CV version. |

DynaMike ![]() | With all those extra chrome decoration (by Robri, I guess) it almost looks like a Vendôme, but the taillights are too small. | 2011-11-27 17:46
DynaMike ![]() | Yes. I wonder whether these would have been built in Amsterdam... |
2011-11-27 17:42 | ||
DynaMike ![]() | I'd say this is a 1939 Monte-Carlo (this 'coach décapotable' was available during 1937-1939, but this one seems to have the low position of the wipers). | 2011-11-27 17:39
DynaMike ![]() | I would go for a Hotchkiss. The pre-war Renaults had thinner rear fenders. | 2011-11-27 17:17
DynaMike ![]() | Oh, and the white one in the last thumbnail has got the extra lights on the rear and the luxury lights on top of the license plate: 1956 Luxe Spécial [Z1]. | 2011-11-27 17:06
DynaMike ![]() | I think this is one of the first Taxi G7 versions (1956 [Z5]). It seems to be written on the rear door, there seems to be a difference in colour beteen roof and lower body (black and red), the luggage rack would match, and there is something visible just behind the B-pillar: the separation window. Nice! | 2011-11-27 17:03
somename ![]() | 1949 Lincoln Sport Sedan [74]. | 2011-11-27 16:12
