| dsl | wiki says "BMW bought the Automobilwerk Eisenach in 1928 and, with it, the rights to build the Dixi car. At first the cars were badged as BMW Dixi but the Dixi name was dropped in 1929 when the DA-1 was replaced by a slightly updated version, the BMW 3/15 DA-2." Ho-hum. I don't know Dixis well enough to say much but this looks a small door, which in A7 terms was usually very early. But it seems to have wing-mounted headlights instead of first position on scuttle, suggesting later 1920s. I think the thing on screen pillar is probably a mirror - too high up for the scuttle-mounted light position. Also I think there were some A7 exports to Germany before Dixi assembly started, although I'd expect them to have scuttle lights. So I'm confused by this one. |

| ingo | Wir sollten -sofern auffindbar- die vorhergehende Serie "Pusteblume" auch dazunehmen. Insbesondere den NSU Prinz 4, der in der Sendung über Müll und Recycling verschrottet wurde. Die Folge kam im März 1979. Ich erinnere mich daran, weil ich die ganze Zeit hin und her gerannt bin: vom Fernseher zum Kinderzimmerfenster. Einerseits wollte ich diese Folge sehen, andererseits war hinten auf dem Garagenhof gerade ein Hanomag-Bulldozer dabei, die immer noch vorhandenen Schneeberge von der Schneekatastrophe auf die Wiese oberhalb des Hofes zu schaufeln. | 2016-02-24 20:16 | ||
