| 2013-02-12 16:40

DynaMike ![]() | There's a light at the same place visible here: /vehicle_174237-Renault-4CV-Sport-1955.html . But anyway, the rear side mounted indicators came in March 1955, so it could be (with this light colour) a 2CV AU built between September 1954 and January 1955 (when production was stopped) or a 2CV AZU from October 1954 till February 1955. | 2008-05-16 18:47
sixcyl ![]() | I think you're right Mike. The light point is not an indicator light, and rather a point on the windscreen of the Cadillac . Though Citroen logo is missing, it may be an AU. 1955 , because of the "AC 132 Gris clair" colour launched in sept.1954 at the first time. -- Last edit: 2008-05-16 18:29:27 |

DynaMike ![]() | Nice! Also nice (and equally (in)visible) is the Simca Aronde Grand Large on the right. |
2008-05-16 16:21 | ||
DynaMike ![]() | Might even be an earlier AU (cf the strange place of the aftermarket indicator). Not sure, though... | 2008-05-16 16:15

DynaMike ![]() | Super Merci bien, Jean-Marc! Maybe this is esthetically speaking not the best success, but it's so cute and funny... Last weekend I've seen two of these at the Rassemblement Internationale Panhard in the south of Holland (over 70 Panhards were together!). Some pictures of the meeting in front of the Maastricht townhall (by the local television) are on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCweHVNw0pY The Junior shown here is a 'Cabriolet' (the Roadster didn't have exterior door handles). The exterior horns are aftermarket accessories, and I'm not sure about the bumper... m.y. 1954 still had the older type with wider overriders, the bumper shown here looks almost identical to the 1955/56 version, but seems to have a bob standard rib... -- Last edit: 2008-05-16 10:33:40 |
