tore-40 ![]() | @dsl: Not 1892, rather 1982 - the year the Tower Bridge Exhibition started. What you see is probably preparations for this such as covered walkways. ![]() |

electra225 ![]() | 244 L and not DL for the smaller headlights! I am sure! | 2012-07-19 10:18
electra225 ![]() | The colour was available between September 1976 and september 1980 (Azorenblau metallic). I would say '77. '78 Golfs in GL trim had remote controlled outside rear-view mirror and darker windows. -- Last edit: 2012-07-19 10:15:47 |

ingo ![]() | No idea why exactly 1978, but it's 1976-1978 anyways (already plastic mirror, but still chrome bumpers). If anybody could identify the colour, we would be sure. For me this bluemetallic looks more like 1976/77, but I may be wrong. |
2012-07-19 00:15 | ||
ingo ![]() | The little blue Estate between the Renault 16 TX and the Volvo 144, is a Mazda, or? The bluemetallic C-pillar behind the Volvo is from a late (colour) Ford Granada II. | 2012-07-19 00:11
tore-40 ![]() | It was even called Mitsubishi Colt Galant | 2012-07-19 00:07
ingo ![]() | Me neither. @carobserver: the rules and regulations aren't coherent in Scandinavia. They differate between the countries. | 2012-07-19 00:07
Lateef ![]() | I don't get it. |
2012-07-18 23:57 | ||
tore-40 ![]() | True enough, @carobserver. There are subtle differences, but also a never ending debate over the criterias for the 'Made for'. For instance, Sweden demanded for several years to have headlight wipers, while this was regarded as unnecessary luxury in Norway and added 'luxury tax' to the value. -- Last edit: 2012-07-19 00:17:18 |

Lateef ![]() | No. Colt was used as make until the early 80s. The situation was more or less identical in the UK | 2012-07-18 23:51
Lateef ![]() | The Commodore would have had plastic trim between the taillights. I've seen many Rekords with vinyl tops. | 2012-07-18 23:49
tore-40 ![]() | Registration # (DC57xxx) | 2012-07-18 23:36
dsl ![]() | ... probably more useful to reverse the statement and regard Sunbeam 1250/1500/1300/1600 name as only reliable for most north and west Europe markets. Some small SE Europe and E Med markets kept Avenger and even Hillman name, plus many Commonwealth markets further east etc etc. A topic for another day ..... |
2012-07-18 23:36 | ||
carobserver ![]() | yes, DieHard would like if someone notice that ![]() |
2012-07-18 23:33 | ||
