ingo DE@rljuna2: both parts are still available, the foglights as the cover cap, too: Link to "www.yatego.com"
Hell is is well-sorted with items and parts for 1960ies and 1970ies car lightings.

electra225 ITThe colour was available between September 1976 and september 1980 (Azorenblau metallic).
I would say '77. '78 Golfs in GL trim had remote controlled outside rear-view mirror and darker windows.

Thumb clearly shows this is archive footage from about 1894 during final construction of Tower Bridge - compare http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Tower_bridge_works_1892.jpg .

ingo DENo idea why exactly 1978, but it's 1976-1978 anyways (already plastic mirror, but still chrome bumpers). If anybody could identify the colour, we would be sure.
For me this bluemetallic looks more like 1976/77, but I may be wrong.

ingo DEThe little blue Estate between the Renault 16 TX and the Volvo 144, is a Mazda, or? The bluemetallic C-pillar behind the Volvo is from a late (colour) Ford Granada II. 2012-07-19 00:11

I don't get it.
2012-07-18 23:57
tore-40 NOTrue enough, @carobserver. There are subtle differences, but also a never ending debate over the criterias for the 'Made for'. For instance, Sweden demanded for several years to have headlight wipers, while this was regarded as unnecessary luxury in Norway and added 'luxury tax' to the value.

... probably more useful to reverse the statement and regard Sunbeam 1250/1500/1300/1600 name as only reliable for most north and west Europe markets. Some small SE Europe and E Med markets kept Avenger and even Hillman name, plus many Commonwealth markets further east etc etc. A topic for another day .....
