rjluna2 USFor some reason I don't know whey they think this is Impala in the registration, I still believe this is 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air due to absence rear roof trim and vertical chrome trim at the taillights.

Here is what the 1959 Chevrolet Impala looks like: /vehicle_267308-Chevrolet-Impala-1959.html

Lateef NOI agree with you Ingo, I think it's stupid that they copied everything from the Danish, I wish there were more Olsenbanden movies like this:

/movie.php?id=87710

It's my favourite Norwegian Olsenbanden movie. You know why? It's the only original Norwegian Olsenbanden movie. Unfortunately it was the last Olsenbanden movie ever (Olsenbandens siste stikk and Olsenbanden Jr. do not count UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES). It pissed me off that they didn't make any more standalone Norwegian Olsenbanden movies. Another thing I found upsetting was the character of Biffen (named Bøffen in the original). In the first movie he was played by Torgils Moe, and in terms of appearance and tongue, he shared nothing in common with the Danish Bøffen played by Ove Werner-Hansen. Moe's version of Biffen was perfect, but of course they had to replace him. In the later movies, they combined fresh shot footage of Werner-Hansen with original Danish footage. Why couldn't they keep the original? Sure, Werner-Hansen is great, too, but I wanted to hear more from Moe. I believe they struggled to make original plots because of budgetary issues. In the first movie, the director had to pawn his house so he could afford to make the movie.

On the other hand, I'm glad they copied some of the scenes, because then you can pay attention to the smallest details in differences and you can keep watching the movies even after you've seen them five times each.

ingo DE@Lateef: yes, I know the Ö-thing. I was just too lazy to play around with my keypad.

The more you contribute the Norwegien Olsen-movies, the more it's annoying to see this idiotic copy-manner. Totally stupid. This is only about the movies generally, resp.generally at all - I always accept and like only the original, no matter, what item.
Sure, it's nice to see the cars here, any European movie/series from the 70ies is promising :king: , so I'm just niggling about the plot and make of the movies itself.
2012-08-06 22:06
Lateef NOOf course they included it. It's a great and funny scene. Hell, they even used the same type of truck. Very well done, if you ask me. In this movie, it's not 25-Øre ([nitpicking on] note to you, Ingo: it's Øre in Danish - with Ø, not Ö [nitpicking off]), but 50-Øre. Btw: up until recently 50-Øre existed in Norway, it was abolished on the 1st of May this year.

There are certain Danish scenes the Norwegian movies could've done without, but this isn't one of them. THIS is one of them: /vehicle_234116-Renault-5-R1222-1976.html - even in the Danish movie I found this scene pointless and unfunny.
2012-08-06 21:57

chris40 UKIt's possibly been modified from one of those low-loading conversions. Hanomags and the later Mercedes-Benzes lent themselves to these because of front-wheel drive. 2012-08-05 12:44
