Baube QCah, that's the joke, here the only Trekking is offered with 500X and is not the base trim 2019-08-23 23:26
AleX_DJ ATI mean: in some countries the base version (black bumpers) is called Trekking 2019-08-23 22:54

That sounds like something Reg1992 would joke about

Some people scale a mountain using grappling hooks and ropes, others use their bare hands and still others use painted bumpers.

And in some countries they walk long distances using black ones (let's see if someone understands  )

ingo DEIn Germany it has the nickname "Käfer" = beetle. It was not regulary used by VW, but in the last years from 1978 to 1985, when only the Mexican made 1200 was available in Germany, they had printed "Käfer" on the sales brochures.

Same in other countries like the Netherlands ("Kever") and France("Coccinelle"), where the nicknames were on the brochures. These two countries only as examples, I think, it was the same in other countries, too.
2009-10-20 08:49
rjluna2 USIt is country's nickname. I have notice the IMCDb posting listed with nickname along with real name. 2009-10-19 23:20

medimanic GRVery clearly a W113. A "pagode" with painted windscreen holder instead of it's inox one which was common to every model. So not unidentified, only the engine size & exact model year are missing. ;) 2009-10-16 09:47
