| ingo | No, the name Ballade ws not used in Germany. Maybe I should think about Gag's comment, that this is a Japan-version here. The Europe-version had the plate between the back lamps, so it looks different. Otherwise in Germany smaller Sedan's were always very unpopular (except 1990+ in the former DDR). Here the Hatchback-versions (of all kind of small and semi-small cars of every brand) were always preferred. | dsl | If you look at all the Mondeos already on the site, we seem to have far too many under the sequence: 1993+ Mk1 1997+ Mk2 2001+ Mk3 2007+ Mk4 for it to be worth changing. The Mk1-4 sequence is not wrong or misleading so why not keep it? Changing everything to Mk1-3 would be very time consuming; while it may be slightly more accurate as some people argue, it doesn't really give a useful improvement. |

| potter | Yes it is a Mondeo MK2. Why? The first 93-Mondeo debut in this 96-in thoroughly updated (many believe this is the MK2 is not), it is manufactured until 2000.
