tonkatracker USCowl-induction fibreglass hood makes this exactly a 1987, 1986 Z24s had the same hood as other Cavaliers (I had 2 1986 Z24s and the 1987 Hood is a desirable upgrade)

Yep. Definately an earlier version since the GMC logo is in the middle. Not sure when they changed it so that it was on the right-hand side though
