Phil-1 ![]() | Just out of Interest....anyone have any idea what the Licence Plate was? | 2021-08-16 10:03 | ||
dhill_cb7 ![]() | This was his actual car: Link to "www.triplem.com.au" However, the make is not listed...I guess you might be right to revert to 3 Cabrio. |

Z2 ![]() | I'm going to say 1994 325i for this one. Plate appears to start with "F" (93/94 reg), but without the rear badge visible it shouldn't be listed as 328i in any case. If it were a 328i, the plate would start with "N" (which was issued from 94-96). Cabrios were relatively rare in Aus - only about 400 were sold per year, and cost was over A$90,000 - a lot back in the 90s. For some reason BMW only sold the 6-cylinder 325i/328i cabrios here. -- Last edit: 2021-08-07 11:55:09 |

ingo ![]() | So can we agree, that this Lada is a) worth to list due its rarity b) "made for AUS" would be correct, too, as it has an unique name there ![]() |

Gag Halfrunt ![]() | We have a Lada (also a red Samara) in the 1980s Mission: Impossible revival, which was filmed in Australia, but not surprisingly that show does feature vehicles that weren't sold in Australia. /vehicle_513484-Lada-Samara-2108-1985.html P.S. Also a Niva: /vehicle_513490-Lada-Niva-2121-1979.html -- Last edit: 2013-10-10 23:13:07 |

Sandie ![]() | Wiki says Ladas were sold in Australia from 1984 to 1996. They sold well initially but sales tailed off. Five door Samaras were sold as Cevaro and Saloons as Sable. -- Last edit: 2013-10-10 22:59:10 |

antp ![]() | Even if the rest of the movie uses the HD pictures, for this one I find more logical to do the other way round, as not much is seen on the HD pic Indeed, here they made a different P&S for 4:3 and widescreen, cutting a different par in both cases; I guess they had some margin top & bottom for not having to cut too much in the widescreen frame: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoot_and_protect -- Last edit: 2013-10-10 17:35:36 |

MisterZ ![]() | Should this be renamed to "UD Trucks" ? The name Nissan Diesel is no longer used in Australia (at the time this movie was made, I think "Nissan UD" was used). -- Last edit: 2013-10-10 13:37:03 |
