| tonkatracker | yeah I get repo orders like that too...my favorite is RVs though, sometimes they just decode the Vin for the Chassis and send me looking for a Ford F53 instead of a Winnebago ITASCA but a lot of the times it'll just say something like Ford Itasaca suncruiser 35 the funniest was when they accepted an order for a "Volvo Dump Truck" and i wound it, when i called my boss and told him he needed to hire a loboy and escort cars etc, he thought I was crazy. He said just get the keys and drive it to the lot... He thought he accepted an order for a normal dump truck but it was an 6 wheeled articulating off road beast |

| dhill_cb7 | For instance some of the employees here list Ford F-750s as Ford Dump Trucks or International Water Truck. My favorite is when the cab configuration and trim level is listed in the model name field. Ford Water Truck Crew Cab XLT. All in the model name  Believe it or not most (not all) water trucks are the F-750 weight class. I am sure some have heard of United Rentals. Well my company does a lot of their customer financing. United Rentals doesn't know how to list their vehicles properly either. You should see some of their invoices they send us... For a time we were getting invoices with the wrong Model Year on them too....which is why I stepped in the audit the documents. The bank won't allow us to fund the deal if the VIN shows one year and the invoice shows another... |

I get to study VINs all day as people do not understand how to read them or even know how to properly list the vehicle in the leasing/loan system. TL/DR: reverted to RAM. |

| tonkatracker | while the VIN switch may have occurred in 2011, according to Chrysler themselves all 2010+ Trucks are branded as RAM and not Dodge, they even said in a press conference at the time that the VIN would still come back as a Dodge, but y'all do what you want I am not on this site enough to argue about it anymore. V6 GT was launched in November 1984. V6 Turbo was launched in September 1985. By looking at this brochure, it looks like it has Turbo wheels, however it also, quite clearly, has a V6 GT written on it  |
