| Groszkowski | Actually, the GMC version of the Isuzu Forward was the GMC Forward, and later the GMC T-Series. The W-Series (which this one indeed is) is a rebadged version of the Isuzu N-Series (NPR, NQR, NRR, NLR, and NKR) which itself is a rebadged version of the Isuzu Elf. |

Malibu444 ![]() | These little cars could be tweaked from the stock 100hp to 125hp with just a change in exhaust. Next, switching out the carburetor for two weber 36DCD's got you to 155hp and 6.x seconds 0-60 instead of 9.x seconds stock. The difference was outrageous, the total cost for these changes was about $1000. In the 1980's that was great performance for anything but a Corvette, V8 pony car, or exotic. The RX-7's rear wheel drive with a limited slip differential from a later model made tire abuse fun! The suspension was primitive so handling was probably worse than the car's looks implied. | 2012-09-11 00:29 | ||
LeftLane1 ![]() | This is the 1981-82 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham. I owned almost the exact same model as the photo, just burgundy top on burgundy, no crub feelers, no front plate and OEM Stock Olds Wire wheels. Olds made this series of the Cutlass line from 1981 until 1988 (in 1988 they made this as the "Classic" and also made the next generation fwd Cutlass as well). This was the best selling car in America for about a decade or more.... |
