dhill_cb7 ![]() | Badge placement places this at a 1993 only. 1992 have GMCtruck on the left side of the tail gate and Jimmy on the right. This one lacks a CHMSL so it can't be a 1994. | 2019-08-13 03:49

TheHeartbreakKid15 ![]() | After a bit of digging, I've found out that this particular Chieftain is a Mark 10 and is still part of the running fleet at the museum. She's known as Boudicca (although someone recently painted the name Balaklava over it) and had problems with her final drive last year, she isn't driven as much any more as she used to take part in the Tanks in Action display which the museum held during on peak holiday periods. The display has now been downsized to just one tank which is a Canadian Leopard C2 whilst Boudicca/Balaklava is enjoying semi-retirement. | 2016-08-31 01:46

TheHeartbreakKid15 ![]() | This is a late model with Stillbrew armour on the front of the turret and the TOGS system (thermal operated gunnery sight). The control box for TOGS is on the left side of the turret (our right in the pictures) Without knowing the registration I can't tell if we at the museum still have this particular tank. | 2015-05-19 02:03
Weasel1984 ![]() | The Martini car is an Evo 2 (at the 1st two thumbs from Portugal, a 1984 one exactly). The main car belongs to the Jolly Club/Totip team. If the footage is also from Portugal it is a 1984 chassis #415 = Evo 2 or 1985 chassis #195 - perhaps also Evo 2, but can't confirm this. Interesting info about all period events with 037. | 2013-08-09 21:11
Neon ![]() | I've checked on my old car magazines: the only ones I own of 1980 (november and december) there's no trace of Ital. In the whole 1982 neither so, or it was sold in 1981 only and I cannot check since I've not any magazine from that year or it was not sold at all ![]() |

Sandie ![]() | Leather seats were an option, yes. Not a particular popular one for the reasons you mention. The wood trim was standard on the Ghia trim. And it was shockingly bad fake stuff. Nitpicking but there was no 1.2 Fiesta. It was always called a 1.25. |

130rapid ![]() | If you never tried, you will never know. ![]() * * * Love! Peace! Stay cool! :P Such dull cars are neccesary too! Some people need 4-wheel hardware to ride from A to B point! Nothing else. (Poor machines because have careless owners and almost nobody love it. :X) They will be rarities 30 years after! I'd enjoy much more to see one old tiny shiny Datsun on oldtimers meeting than ten Mercedes R107. -- Last edit: 2010-03-05 18:55:39 |

Road Wars Fanatic ![]() | 'I hate it on a cellular level, I hate every fibre of its construction, I hate its exterior, I hate its interior, I hate its steering, its gearbox, I hate its engine. I want to smash its face in with a monkey wrench, I want to kick it, I want to push it off a cliff. But what I am going to do, is for the first time in its life, allow it to fly. Hahahahaha, Goodbye Sunnyman!' Great quote from Jeremy Clarkson. ![]() |
