Yes, usually we can get NSW VINs (we can now get them for all states), but not in this case because rego expired 20 years ago.

Z2 AUNot built in Australia. Cressidas have always been imported. 2020-06-02 20:26
Exiv96 BEThe series was filmed in Australia, where JDM imports are severely restricted, not in New Zealand. Anyway, I'm quite sure this isn't a JDM import. Metallic paint, no window protector metal bar in the loading bay... 2020-05-06 01:07

Wikipedia says the Cressidas assembles in New Zealand had 2.0 litre engines. However, the Cressida was available in Australia with the 2.8 litre 6-cylinder engine (with chassis code MX62 due to non-IRS). I suppose it was produced in Australia ?

Mmhhh, the question is, since what time New Zealand was flooded with used cars from Japan and Hongkong, so it may a JDM car.
When I've been in NZ in 1998, the local car assembling was already collapsed.

MisterZ AU1993+ in Australia but this one is a 1994+ CSi trim. In 1993, these wheels were only available on Executive trim (1993 CSi models had different wheels), but in mid-1994 the Executive was discontinued and CSi became the new base model, so it adopted the 1993 Executive wheels.

rtsbusman1997 USThe airdate order of episodes is strange. IMDB has the episodes split between local air dates and airdates from another source while Wikipedia says this ran between 9 January 1995 – 4 July 1995.
