| Kowalski | ^ In the entertainment world, a Renault Kangoo can easily evade three BMW 5-series and a VW Beetle is self aware and hopelessly in love with a Lancia Montecarlo. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that a Vauxhall Astra 1.4 driven by a woman manages to catch up a Jaaaaag. |

ingo ![]() | Err, @dsl: these times aren't really gone. ![]() You still can find them on such lonely places. At our Scotland-trips, the last around 1 year ago, we had seen such sights, in the Highlands or on Skye. In Germany it became much different. The very most phoneboxes, especially on the countryside, disappeared. As the most people have mobile phones, it's not an attractive business any more for the Telekom. And there old rules/laws about the public infrastructure are dismantled, too. |

dsl ![]() | Doesn't look like a real position - my grandfather remembers the days when these were common, and they were placed at junctions with pull off areas or near shops/pubs/houses or some other focus, not in the middle of a stretch of lane miles from anything else. And there's no telegraph pole or junction box in this view ... | 2011-07-25 22:37 |
