Unless this one is optioned with RPO 261. Which deletes the V12 emblem. Best to list without power output.

GodzillaFan54 CAThis Mercedes handled getting run over by a monster truck pretty well, the roof didn't get crushed in despite those two giant tires rolling right over it. Though I'd imagine it'd still need a little work before being 100% operational again :D 2023-03-16 22:15
GodzillaFan54 CAI don't believe this accurately represents the car; this listing makes it seem like it's a monster truck for the entire movie when it's really only one for the last five minutes, the rest of the time it's a standard 1920s flatbed truck. 2023-01-23 20:09

Sandie SXI'd not be surprised if it was the same car twice, both are 1993ish productions filmed in CA. 2020-08-08 22:22
Baube QCtried to search a little bit , only thing i found so far is a 1996 that got repainted 2020-08-08 21:47
dhill_cb7 USDid not research. However, knowing car manufacturers both answers seem plausible. 2020-08-08 21:41
Baube QCcould silver still be available by special order ?

or did some late 1992 ones got the logo ?

questions..
2020-08-08 21:04
Z2 AUI can't see how this can be a 1993 model since silver was discontinued after 1992. Yet the logo on the front wasn't introduced until '93... very puzzling. Maybe leave the year blank until we can figure this out?

Found same exact issue with this one: /vehicle.php?id=994619

5 lug on the rear wheel negates [G-30]. Front badge is too bulky to read 10.

Reg1992 USFord Taurus wagon behind the truck, and another Taurus (red) next to the Sentra. Looks like a then-new 1994 Honda Accord behind it, and a 1981-83 Toyota Corolla behind the Accord/in front of the Jeep. 1987-89 Toyota Camry going the other way on the right.

Reg1992 USA late-80s or early-90s Ford F-150 behind it, I think. Also a 1984-85 Honda Civic hatchback in the next lane. 2016-12-28 01:31
Reg1992 USAlso a 1990-93 Chevrolet Lumina behind it on the left. The car behind the Sentra might be a 1982-85 Honda Accord. 2016-12-28 01:28

Mr. Drysdale: So you take this [gestures towards Lincoln Town Car limousine], and I'll follow you in my Rolls-Royce [gestures towards Corniche]. There you go.
Jethro: Is that your car?
D: Yes it is.
J: Ain't that fancy...can I drive it?
D: You? Drive my $180,000 Rolls-Royce?
J: [nods]
D: [nervous pause] ..uhh well of course you can, son, I think that's a great idea!

Buc84 USA lot of the 'new' cars you see getting wrecked in movies and such I was told years ago by someone in the know are the cars that can't be sold (Have to be destroyed, most just get crushed?) due to liability issues, stuff like R&D cars, prototypes, cars that were somehow damaged in transit or storage (Like in a flood?)and of course, those infamous "Factory Buyback" cars?(A 'Lemon' they were made to buy back from the buyer.) 2015-05-23 18:27

Baube QCyeah, seen that way, make sense to me ( but still , they could had placed the Mustang & Taurus somewhere else... :) ) 2015-05-19 08:10
rtsbusman1997 USWell, if the producers have connections, it could have been vehicles provided for product placement. Would have absorbed much of the budget. Considering 13 of the 24 cars are brand new (or somewhat new) it wouldn't have been hard to get new cars to crash, since most movies get most of its budgets from the product placement. 2015-05-19 06:45
karoomay SYMisterZ, I should have asked about this earlier but I'll ask it now, was there a closer shot of the 1992+ Ford Taurus SHO seen the the left here? /vehicle_28871-Jaguar-XJ6-Series-III-1979.html
They were not very common and it was another then new Ford they wrecked for this scene.
2015-05-18 15:38
Baube QCassuming that its a base Mustang it was a little less than 13 000 $CDN ( surely less in USD ), not too expensive but i agree with you, getting a brand new Mustang just to destroy it is not the best idea...

We don't need it. It's 1991-1993 because fully color-keyed bumper, and 325i indeed (air inlet for oil cooler, in front spoiler).

130rapid PLFor sure 1980+ Silver Shadow Series II, because twin exhaust pipes, chromed bumpers and side mirrors. 1985 only possible due to reachable safety belts. The CHMSL is added later probably, because Corniche II (with color-keyed bumpers and mirrors) was available since 1986 MY on North American market. 2015-05-16 09:32

eLMeR MH1984+ or 1985+? Most pictures I can find from L-Series trucks with the oval above the grille are said to be 1985+ models only
It also looks like having a short nose, but the view point may mislead. Could it be a LN-Series?
