dhill_cb7 ![]() | Called 4Dr in Thailand; from my research. However, I haven't been able to locate any official documents on the Crew/Double cab models. I believe most were sold to Police or Government. Barely any on the used market sites. Even less when you search on google. | 2022-10-26 18:31

ddgonzal ![]() | Is not a Nissan Sunny Truck. Grille and bonnet emblem is all wrong. Looks more like a Mazda 1200 'ute'. |

3asv6 ![]() | DB7356. Notice the Isuzu badge on the front end. Isuzu ECR450 (Chassis no. 2506212). The body may be Wong Ming (local Hong Kong body). First register in HK 1984/4. Data from PSV circle fleetlist OP4. -- Last edit: 2010-03-30 23:19:51 |

BeanBandit ![]() | The N14 is the same car as the last European sold Sunny. The Japanese Pulsar. http://www.autocentrum.pl/nissanclub/modele/sunny.html Japanese Sunny is then the same car as American Sentra B14, for example. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Nissan_Sunny_1997.JPG |
2008-04-28 16:07 | ||
garco ![]() | I was trying to fill in some missing chassis codes for Sentra's/Pulsars/Tsuru's/Sunny's. Maybe you can help. There are some differenses B14 & N14. What's the difference? |
2008-04-28 13:14 | ||
BeanBandit ![]() | I think B13 is a bit more rounded. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:3rd-Nissan-Sentra-sedan.jpg |

qwerty_86 ![]() | Yes, true. DOT specs are really crappy. It's designed more for reflecting off side and overhead road signs and car reflectors rather than seeing. A lot of people in the US convert their lights to E-Code. I know on my car it'll light up the reflectors on cars and signs pretty far down the road, but the visual beam on the road is only like maybe 20-40 feet in front of me. | 2007-09-01 07:02
junkman ![]() | To my knowledge many countries outside the US require one to convert US cars to Euro-spec headlamps. US sealed-beam low beams do not have a defined bright/dark zone and are not emitting an assymetrical beam (commonly called left/right dip, depending on whether the country you register the car in has RH or LH traffic). |
2007-08-31 19:36 | ||
rjluna2 ![]() | You assumed correctly. |
2007-08-31 02:25 | ||
qwerty_86 ![]() | I assume he means they're not DOT spec (missing the typical prism pattern on the lense), which would make sense since most of the time when he says they're non-standard, the movie is filmed elsewhere than the US. | 2007-08-27 06:51
ddgonzal ![]() | Yes. Datsun B10. Called "Sunny" in Japan, "Datsun 1000" in other markets like Canada and Australia. | 2007-08-24 07:01
Gag Halfrunt ![]() | I don't know, but rjluna said they were non-standard. | 2007-08-16 12:38
junkman ![]() | Why? What's wrong with them? |
2007-08-16 11:50 | ||
Gag Halfrunt ![]() | I would guess that either the headlamps had to be altered to meet regulations in Thailand (where this scene was filmed), or the headlamps stopped working at some point and the correct replacement parts were not available. | 2007-08-16 11:42
Gag Halfrunt ![]() | Filmed in Thailand (according to the IMDB) and evidently Hong Kong as well. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0105851/locations |
2007-08-16 11:40 | ||
rjluna2 ![]() | This car does not have US spec headlight. What was the headlight standard being used at the time this film? | 2007-08-16 02:42
Jun ![]() | Guess from the ratio of door and overall length, it's too long & high for Coaster. I think it's still unknown. |

DIEHARD ![]() | They may be now, but once they we're not. Like 13 years ago when this movie was shot. There are more French cars from Thailand on this site. And I know Citroën had an assembly line overthere in the end of the seventies... -- Last edit: 2006-10-19 13:36:12 |
2006-10-19 13:36 | ||
ilovewasa ![]() | I would surpriced to see French cars in Thailand, Diehard. Now they (old French and new French... both!) are very rare in Thailand. (note : I am not living in Bangkok.) |
