dhill_cb7 USCar must be parked/off in this scene as CDN models have, by federal law, DRLs. Since CDN has different trim levels a made for tag should be applied.

Edit: those are 1999-2000 head lamps and 1998-2000 wheel covers.

jettalover wrote In the movie they make the H2 sound like it had a diesel engine. But has the H2 ever had a diesel in the U.S/Canada?

Not that I'm aware. I did locate a diesel conversion: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/1076112-8.html I presume they are an aftermarket converter?

That's only a handful you mention. Like I said, there aren't many small hatchbacks sold in the US, and none of them look much like this. Much of what you mention is from years later or earlier than this.

Most people watching this would notice that this car looks out of place in a movie set in the US.

ecclefechan SXNot sold in the US. I wonder why they chose one of the very few cars sold in Canada but NOT sold in the US for a film that supposedly takes places in Washington State. It's not hard to disguise Canada as the US, but this film manages to even botch that. There aren't many small hatchbacks in the US, so most Americans will probably notice that it looks out of place also. 2013-04-11 15:12
SuperDave479 USActually, I don't see a reason why this couldn't be a '98 either, although it certainly could be a '99. The '98 was the new nose. Those wheels were standard on SS models from '97-99.

As a side note, the one in the movie here has a SLP grille.
