Sandie SXWe never got this style of Probe in the UK as an official model (I've seen one imported one, however), though they were sold in mainland Europe. Not sure if the European markets received them for the whole duration of the model.

RHD Probe production started in December 1993: Link to "www.autonews.com" so markets like the UK, Ireland and Australia would be 1994+, UK sales as an example started in March 1994. As discussed previously on here the UK models also always had the full width rear lights with the plate mounted on the bumper ( /vehicle_945479-Ford-Probe-1994.html ).

They were a poor seller, so were still available into 1998, but probably only produced until 1997 like everywhere else. In late 1998, we then got the Mercury Cougar (badged as a Ford) which was similarly unpopular.

dhill_cb7 US@Sandie. I thought you just mentioned these debuted for 1994? Or was that only for Great Britain? This is a GT by that front fascia. '89 only. [SN16]. 2020-02-15 20:30

I don´t think so. The highway scenes were filmed near Berlin (in the south of Dreilinden, Checkpoint Bravo), they renewed this old street for the movie; and after that, 1995-1997, they used it for Cobra 11.

rpcm PTThere are indeed some parts on the front end from a 1974+ car, but with the help of the thumbnail and the shape of the door mirror it's possible to say it's a 1968+ car. 2012-09-15 00:42

SKGT3RS DENo, it's a 1987-1989 911 Carrera 3.2 Cabrio. You can see it in the picture from the back of the car. It does not have a fog light next to the exhaust and the "Porsche" written on the mid tail light is red, not black. 2012-05-21 00:30

Bebert FRDésolé, mais cet éclairage de plaque (avec le badge TRIUMPH) est celui des voitures jusqu'en 1977. En 1978, il disparait remplacé par deux petits porte-ampoules. Donc 1975+
