marioman3138 ![]() | I'm pretty sure that the grill badge started in 1977 (people have been converting this model to the 1977 by grill badge in some of the groups I'm in) Link to "www.metrohobbies.com.au" | 2023-01-03 12:18

s13a ![]() | Looks like an older (1970s?) SAR model. I guess these are designated as W-900 SAR in Aus. Lots of Kenworth of Australia brochures : Link to "www.autoarkiv.dk" -- Last edit: 2022-11-08 16:56:40 |

AnimatronixX ![]() | No, I'm very sorry, but these boomerangs clearly don't define a coachbuilder, as they were available pretty much everywhere, even in local car part shops for $ 80,- or less and hundreds of coachbuilders and customizers all over the world used them. I agree that the boomerang above possibly hints at a limousine - or not, for aforementioned reasons. I initially chose not to comment on this page, as we can't see a thing and too many Australian coachbuilders stretched W116 and W126 sedans in the past. | 2022-11-08 01:41
andrepa ![]() | I assume those specific boomerang antennas were used by Trasco [V126] from 1990 onwards Link to "www.modellautos-budig.de" https://www.mercedesclique.de/2022/05/mercedes-benz-w-126-1000-sel-trasco.html |

993cc ![]() | Not sure when this change happened but I bet these hoods are interchangeable so I wouldn't be surprised if link car really is the same Urraco re-done also with painted wheels etc. Lambos have been known to go through (even multiple) make-overs throughout their lifetime. | 2022-11-07 21:06
s13a ![]() | HQ had a different set of tail lights : The subject car has the later ones : It's not HJ because the script would be located further down the trim-line : It's not HX because the script is located above the trim-line : That leaves us with HZ, where the script is located a little bit closer to the trim-line (than on HJ) and also below it : ![]() |

s13a ![]() | Gets damaged and vandalized a lot during the movie, so much so, I thought it was scraped right after the filming was finished. However I've found a link where it says : Link to "www.shannons.com.au" That being said, the 1976 P300 in that link looks different (in particular those hood vents), so I'm not quite sure if it's the same one -- Last edit: 2022-11-07 19:09:41 |
