Never got certain numbers but British Army may have left around 700 !! Pioneers in France after Dunkirk. Certainly it was in the many hundreds. French lorry industry after WWII wasn't able to produce all the vehicles needed by the country, therefore Calberson had to purchase abroad. In 1947 an amount of 152 lorries were bought to Guy Motors Ltd, all of the type Vixen 4ton. |
