dhill_cb7 USI think this decoder is more geared toward passenger vehicles:

The VIN code WF0LXXBDFL2T31883 breaks down as

Manufacturer Identifier: WF0
Body type: L
Line: Ford Great Britain (Own Assembly)
Assembly Plant: Southampton (UK)
Model: Fiesta
Year: 2002 (some codes are used for more than one year)
Month: April
Production Sequence: 21883

dsl SXThere's no solid reason I've ever seen that any Transit should have origin D, as amongst other reasons as far as I can tell there was never any production in D. Doesn't mean that all Transits should switch to origin UK, particularly late ones as UK build stopped in 2013, but it's difficult to define what origin is best for late ones, apart from saying D doesn't really work. A UK build sold in D is worth highlighting because the general assumption is most early/mid Transits for Europe came from Genk. 2021-01-19 17:16
Gamer DEShould be listed as a 2002, origin Germany, built in the UK. Doesn't have to be necessarily listed as made for D. 2021-01-19 16:43

And -in the Western parts of Russia- the dumping ground for used cars from Western Europe.
Just have a look on the A2 nearby your home. All the cars going eastbound, loaded on trucks from the Baltic states, are going finally to Russia.

And such US clunkers as Stratus and Sebring, were very unpopular over here, with the result of very low prices as used cars, so they go to Russia, were US cars are more popular.

Gamer DEBut we're in Russia, the dumping ground for tons of US and JDM grey-imports.
EDIT: Okay, I looked up the episode again and it's definitely a European Stratus. It's got a Cirrus grille with 4-way crosshairs.

ingo DENot to forget the fact, that in Europe it was always a Chrysler Stratus. 2018-12-06 22:14
Gamer DEI don't think it's a Stratus - looking up the episode on Youtube, it has a big grille suggesting either a Chrysler Cirrus or an Euro-spec Sebring. 2018-12-06 22:11

eLMeR MHIt looks a lot like a Century Class indeed. With apparently a flat cowl side, so a 120"/3.05 m BBC C120 (the beveled cowl side on the truck shown in your link indicates a 112"/2.84 m BBC C112, Baube). 2016-06-08 04:33
eLMeR MH1987+ (Navistar) International logo in the left lower part of the grille (right part, from our point of view :) ), so a 1987+ truck.
No set back front axle nor aerodynamic bumper/blinkers: not a 9700.
→ A 1987-88 9670 or a 1988-96 9600. Due to the lack of the louvers which are usually visible above the grille of a 9600, I'd say a 9670 (which was also promoted as XL-Series).
