Baube wrote not sure .. a quick look on wiki gives us the choice between an UFO incident, Miss Europe or various sports ..
probably something i'm missing out too..

also found a train wreck and a plane crash but i doubt its that either..

also 3 popes in 1978 ..

3 popes? :wow: Hm, since it's classified as a "Documentary" maybe this is a retrospective end-of-year film, perhaps? Quite odd how the year of this is from 1991...

AnimatronixX DEThat one took me quite a while... but I got it: It's a Renault Estafette 1000 [R2137] with integral body by Carrosserie Automobile H. Arnault of Garches (Hautes-de-Seine), France. Three units were built for the Pompes Funèbres Générales de Paris. Fun(eral) fact: One of these (maybe even the one shown above) was used for the Funeral of Jean-Paul Sartre in 1980.

As always - once you know what you have been looking for, it's rather easy to find more about it. But it's still "Arnault", not "Arnaud".

It is older one. In case of this model (in Europe!) Iveco was used as brand since 1982, when it had already a different taillamps in bumper. It most possibly is OM - 1972+ X-range as the oldest option.

Worth to list anyways.

dsl SX@ingo :??: unless we're mixing up different SAS - I meant http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_Air_Service because of the red berets, but should in fact have said the Parachute Regiment - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parachute_Regiment_(United_Kingdom) . The purpose was to see if anyone could track down where the Paras operated in 78 and therefore this location, but the wiki page does not give any answer. 2011-11-03 18:55
