Weasel1984 PLOf course some of cars here are still of the B-group (Lada VFTS, Polonez 2000), but it is just a "swan song" and end of era. 2011-03-09 20:43
Weasel1984 PLI thought it will be only about 850 coupes for a while, but VW's weren't any better. ;) The most scary one to me was the beetle around 1:35 even if stayed at the wheels (although we haven't seen what really happens with the burned Simca 1000). I also didn't notice before how easily in old cars the doors open during rollover.
The 126p wasn't known from such "behavior", although indeed, with higher speed, it seems to be quite easy to tip it over: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRZzS2p6Ll8

Especially with back-engined cars. Here a plenty of examples: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xwc54G2Ur8&feature=related Especially the Fiat's seemed to be really vicious.
Pay attention about the fact, that nearly noone had used seat-belts back then :wow: Helmets aren't required, still not today, when you make a private visitor's turn on "The Ring".

rjluna2 USThese are the over-illumination light/reflection ghost effect of the vidicon from the video camera. You don't see it anymore with modern video camera with CCD. The last time I have seen such over-illumination light/reflection as this example was in the mid-1980s. 2011-03-08 21:55
Gomselmash11Yes, its difficult capture good pictures. Some by the ligts, can be blurred. 2011-03-08 21:51
Gomselmash11Sure, are the best rallye cars. Probably have other documentaries about the Group B or 4 2011-03-08 21:51
ingo DE:think: Maybe I've own pics of some of these cars. In 1986 went the "Baltic Rallye" through the village, where my grandmother lived and I took a lot of photos. 2011-03-08 21:50
Weasel1984 PLThanks again. But personally i would prefer something older, from the Gr. B or Gr. 4 era. 2011-03-08 21:41
Weasel1984 PLThanks, though, I had easy work to do as sometimes there were frozen frames ;)

Weasel1984 PLAnd another Polonez, maybe a former works car, but the hood bulb, made for the Turbo(?) looks rather self made, even if he factory one also wasn't very beutifull. Not to mention, there was only one works 2000 Turbo with 5-door body AFAIK, so rather some customized car:
