Weasel1984 ![]() | If one of those two, the air intake at the side reminds more the 1991 vehicle. | 2011-03-07 18:36
dsl ![]() | OK - 1991 F1 car was McLaren Honda MP4/6, and Senna became champion in one. The 1990 car - in case this is previous year used as display - was McLaren Honda MP4/5. | 2011-03-07 18:20
Weasel1984 ![]() | It was 1991, sorry - I forgot to mention that. You know it was not factory team. | 2011-03-07 18:12
dsl ![]() | If the presentation event was 1986 as your date for the Sierra, the F1 car for that year was Mclaren TAG MP4/2, with which Prost won the Championship. But I can't say anything about the car in the picture. | 2011-03-07 18:10
Weasel1984 ![]() | "Small" DVD - addition to the book with the same title from 2005, dedicated to the memory of one of the best Polish rally drivers, Marian Bublewicz, who died in result of injuries sustained in an accident on the so called "winter rally" at the beginning of 1993 (pics with the 1992 Sierra). DVD consits of archive footages taken from the Bublewicz's driving lessons videos (ca 1992) and some old TV interviews and reportages. -- Last edit: 2011-03-07 18:45:58 |

Weasel1984 ![]() | In use since 1984, but body must be 1983 (as youngest - last year of Coupe production) IMO. Also sometimes possible to meet cars called "2000 T". Both "2000 Turbo" and "2000 T" can be seen next to each other even in results of the same rally... But in case of coupe bodies more common seems to be full name. Not sure if "Coupe" was part of name of the rally version (mixed opinions), but to keep order will be used, like for now. -- Last edit: 2012-10-01 23:00:10 |

dsl ![]() | Looks like it - is this a museum display? If so the Maclaren type could be identified through the museum. | 2011-03-07 17:45
Weasel1984 ![]() | Season ca 1982 If I'm not wrong, but not sure and by he wheel arches 1980 is the oldest possibility. -- Last edit: 2012-10-01 23:15:49 |

Weasel1984 ![]() | Possible. | 2011-03-07 17:36
Weasel1984 ![]() | Preparations of the new car (the Escort RS) took more time. For the first in 1993 season event, Bublewicz had to use once again (this time borrowed) Sierra 4x4. Unfortunately it was the last start in successful career and entire life of this driver. -- Last edit: 2018-07-01 18:23:04 |
