dsl SXDefinitely a saloon/sedan. Mk3 Cortina did not offer the equivalent body of the TC1 Taunus coupe, but as ingo shows, this matches the 2 door TC1 sedan. Always sold as a saloon which was available with a choice of 2 or 4 doors in UK and elsewhere - never described as a coupe. 2010-12-05 13:49

:??: For me it's a two-door Sedan. Although the Coupé-version was only available for the Taunus and not for the Cortina, it was something different:

Here the two-door Sedan: /vehicle_105927-Ford-Taunus-TC1-1974.html This is comparable with the car shown here.

ingo DEHmm, seems so. Due the colour from the Deutsche Bundespost. The historic successor of the stage coach: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kraftpost
The bus-traffic ended officially in 1995, but finally in 2006 - when the last Kraftpost-officer was retiring.

Even two of then in one pic. They were very popular in Greece.

Weasel1984 PLNo idea. By the cables it is possible. 2010-12-03 22:21
DynaMike NLCould it be a trolley bus? 2010-12-03 22:20
Weasel1984 PLYeah, it was some my mistake. It is for the bus.
I can make entry for Triumph, although I originally judged it is a bit too hidden.
It is Greece BTW.

dsl SXIf that's a K-plate it would be 71-72, which matches Sept 71 onwards GT side trim and wheels. 2010-12-03 21:08
Weasel1984 PLLicence vehicle, produced in big numbers is IMO enough to have local origin. 2010-12-03 20:22
Gag Halfrunt UKSurely the model origin should be West Germany, since it's just a Mercedes-Benz made under licence in Iran. 2010-12-03 20:17
Weasel1984 PLAlso a sedan on the very right (maybe also Pirin). 2010-12-03 20:07
Weasel1984 PLNo signs of Irannational, buses owend by Pekaes had to be a German or Turkish made.

Weasel1984 PLYellow one seems to be 1972 and brown one 1971 (as oldest, both can be also newer). 2010-12-03 19:29
DynaMike NLNice, that's the first Pirin coupé on this site :) 2010-12-03 19:17

Short film, in fact a kind of advert of international bus connections offered by Pekaes company. Pekeas is known mainly from its international truck transport. I guess their adventure with passenger travels didn't last long, as there were at least two other, more experienced in this, state companies, Orbis and Gromada.
