chicomarx ![]() | Ended 2010, thanks. We wouldn't list this series now. So many car shows in different countries. |

Jnglmpera ![]() | Just randomly came across this page... Contrary to what @Gliffhanger said, I can't find any literature on this from after 2010... Can any Dutch speaker confirm? Also, I don't know if classification rules were different in the 2000s and 2010s, but this looks more like "Non-Fiction TV" than "TV series". |

993cc ![]() | The 2nd thumbnail car is a different car. It's a 308 qv (hood central vent, grille lights). Then main pic and 1st thumbnail car could be either 308 2v or 208 non-turbo. -- Last edit: 2020-04-24 02:53:40 |

AnimatronixX ![]() | Yes, a rare four door convertible by SILCCO (= Southern & International Lincoln Custom Center, Inc.) of Miami, Florida. These were available via the Lincoln dealer network, but it seems like not many of these were built. | 2019-09-06 20:44

Casper Friedrich ![]() | 1915 Runabout, behind it a pre-1912 Touring (could be as Early as 1909), then a Early 20s Speedster. The closed car at the far right is also a Model T, from 1926 | 2017-03-28 16:29
Sandie ![]() | 2008-09 by the silver section on the bumper and the (very faint) Hummer lettering below (rather than on) the grille. | 2016-04-03 04:54
Sandie ![]() | Not a Donkervoort, it's a Westfield (it even has a Westfield badge). SEight by the large bulge. Compare with the images here: Link to "www.carenthusiast.com" |

dsl ![]() | I think this is the 1958 Maserati 3500 GT Vignale Spyder Commande Speciale - Special Order - a one-off modified Series 1. There are some confusing details at http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=140844838 including that it was Dutch-owned, but unclear if it was modified by Maserati or he did it himself. No other source found. | 2011-10-07 03:08
tony ![]() | a few things wrong with it......to be a real Boss 302 taillights and rear panel should be black. there should not be chrome around the wheel wells. factory bosses had rolled up front fenders to clear the fatter F-60 tires, moldings won't fit. and the rear louvers are after market. | 2011-10-05 03:55
bentleydriver ![]() | This car is still registered in Netherlands... | 2011-10-03 14:09
dsl ![]() | Were Mexicos made with LHD? | 2011-09-04 15:28
Danum ![]() | This car looks like a standard Escort Mk1 "dressed up" to look like a Mexico. It has the split front bumpers, but not the slightly flared front wheel arch lips, which might only be spotted by owners at the time - like me! The MK1 Mexico did qualify as an RS model: especially relevant to the early models which were built at Boreham alongside the RS1600. | 2011-09-04 14:53

carcrasher88 ![]() | I thought the concept was from the 2008 Paris Motor Show... | 2011-05-28 16:13
m.pfaffeneder ![]() | It´s not a SUV. It´s a compact MPV. | 2011-05-28 16:05
dsl ![]() | 73 date is 2.4 engine; front spoiler was only standard on 911S and 911E in 72my, but easy retro-fit; however all 1973my should have black finish - not chromed - on sidelight grilles. Can't match the weight figure, but I think the figures in my book are only for coupe, not targa. -- Last edit: 2011-04-18 20:06:00 |
2011-04-18 19:37 | ||
DynaMike ![]() | Yes, not a cabrio. The car with license plate 53-YB-81 is still registered: 911 T Targa, first date is 28 February 1973. No engine info on rdw site, but the weight of the vehicle is 1062 kgs, maybe that helps? | 2011-04-18 19:21
dsl ![]() | Not a cabrio but 1972 my 911S 2.4 Targa if trim details are authentic. Nice. | 2011-04-18 19:15
dsl ![]() | 1961+ S1 fhc; up to June 67 when headlamp fairings removed. | 2011-03-28 17:52
Weasel1984 ![]() | Indeed it is 308 QV - in fact GTS/GTB were not used on badges since 1982. -- Last edit: 2011-02-12 19:31:25 |

dsl ![]() | Looks like period footage of works team 1.6 HF, probably in 72 when they won several rallies and were retrospectively designated World Rally Champions (the title only being created from 1973 onwards, but was recognised for previous years). All works Fulvias were Series 1, even after S2 introduced. | 2010-10-23 00:41
marioman3138 ![]() | mmm. yeah. I agree. | 2010-10-13 08:52
crossroads ![]() | HUMMER H2 not an H3 | 2010-10-12 20:04
dsl ![]() | Also seen in /vehicle_260494-Jaguar-E-Type-1969.html where it looks like a genuine 1973 Carrera RS in a modern retro-rally. | 2010-09-24 23:12
dsl ![]() | Looks like a Mexico rather than a real RS. | 2010-09-24 19:21
dsl ![]() | Almost certainly an East African Safari car - the only time a Mk1 Escort was #14 was the 1972 works RS 1600 (RWC 458K) of Vic Preston Jnr which finished 3rd. -- Last edit: 2012-07-02 23:34:08 |
