| Misteraverage | Homer Simpsosns buys a Mercedes-Benz SLR129 in the Episode "Medical Weed"....well I'm not sure if this is the name of the episode, I think it may be "Weed Homer". I Don't know, all I know is the episode Homer starts to smoke Marijuana. |

| Misteraverage | There are other Simpsons episodes with real cars: "Beyond Blunderdome" Saturn EV-1 (white) dubbed as "Elec-Taurus" - Homer test-drives and Dives with the car, just to get a present. Dodge Caravan (blue) driven by Mel Gibson (special guest) Mercedes-Benz S-Class W140 (black) driven by the Movie producers when Homer and Mel are running from them across Hollywood. Dr. Julius Hibbert complains to Lisa "If only my Volvo mechanic were as reliable as you". Then gets into a beige 960. The front seat back then collapses. There is an episode, where Dr. Julius Hibbert run over Lisas's cat and he is driving a Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV (Green). The episode, where Marge starts to sell pretzels, Mr. Burns wins a Pontiac Trans-Sport during a contest and everybody throws Marge pretzels on the Van. The Simpsons episode 5F17: When Homer runs out of the museum shouting Lisa's name, some cars swerve to avoid him. One of them has a crudely drawn Volvo badge on the radiator grille. Probably based on the 700 or 900 series. In the episode of the simpsons where Homer starts challenging everybody to duel with him, Principal Skinner and his mother pull up outside Moes Tavern in a Volvo - you can distinctly see the badge/grille combination. Model unknown but possibly based on a 7 or 9 series as it looks quite square. In the simpsons episode where bart goes to juvie, Bart says "They're Selling us to be Crashtest Dummies" lisa then says "Oh please let it be VOLVO" The Simpsons Episode 351(?) In the episode where Bart gets fat (351?) the fat camp councilor owns a late model white station wagon - PROBABLY a V70 or a 850 Estate, not sure what model is. The Simpsons episode: "She used to be my girl". Special guest: Actress Kim Catrall, is a reporter and she drives a Cadillac CTS in the episode. The episode where Isabella Rosselini is the special guest: she drives a black BMW 7-Series possibly an E23 or maybe an E32 - Homer trhrows a little cart angainst her Beamer and then the car's front gets severally smashed. The episode where Bart pretends to be 25 years old, he hires a white Lincoln Town-Car (1990-1997) which gets smahed at the end of the episode. |

| 2005-06-26 17:44 |
| Kowalski | In a recent episode from 11th Decemeber 2005, entitled "The Italian Bob". Here's a Torrent, to download the episode: http://www.mininova.org/tor/175036 Mr. Burns decides to buy a brand new car, so he orders a Lamborgotti Fasterossa. He sends Homer and his family to the factory in Italy to pick the car up. And then on the way to Rome, where the car would be shipped to America, Homer Simpsons hits a big lump of Mortadella and totals the Lambo. Thing is, it happens that the Lamborgotti Fasterossa, is actually a Lamborghini Gallardo. Here are some shots: http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/6016/lambothesimpsons3nl.jpg http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/9876/lamborgotti3tr.jpg http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/5866/lamboandmortadella6ux.jpg http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/5671/lamborgottifasterossa7wp.jpg Notice that the badge, looks like a mix of Ferrari and Lamborghini: http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/2845/festrarossa3fs0zs.gif Also, in the same episode, Sideshow Bob seems to ride a Ducatti: http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/5881/ducattisideshowbob1yf.jpg |

antp ![]() | In the original cartoon, Homer and Marge cars are not recognizable. But the makers of the cartoon made a new opening sequence with real actors and... real cars They used a Lada for Homer's car and a Volvo for Marge (they could have chosen a Wagon, like in the cartoon).Since it is made by the same people than the cartoon, and approved by Matt Groening, I guess we can list these two cars here. More information about this: http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2004580002-2006100428,00.html Since the video links seem dead, here is a working link: http://www.koreus.com/media/the-real-simpsons.html (if you want a direct link to keep the video, use the link labelled "Télécharger" below the video) -- Last edit: 2006-03-08 18:06:07 |

antp ![]() | I always mix up RHD and LHD. I never remember if it means that the car drives on the left or if the steering wheel is on the left ![]() In this short movie, the steering wheel is on the right, normal for a UK car in a movie made in UK. What is strange is that Homer's car has the sterring wheel on the left. But since it has a UK plate, the video may have been mirrored. |

carfan ![]() | Where's Homer's pink sedan, Marges orange staion wagon, Otto's schoolbus, and chief Wiggum's police car? Also in the episode where homer meets Mel Gibson, They are both looking for a vehicle to drive to get away from the film prodcers in Hollywood. when Homer and Mel look at the cars, they show the 1966 batmobile, KITT, Monkeemobile (I think), herbie, The Munsters Koach, and one or two others in a display room and they end up taking a made-up Mad Max style rover-car thing. Ddey65 ![]() | Hey, if you want a car-filled episode, try "The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson." It's got a flashback scene from the 1970's, with big cars from the 1960's & 1970's, Ford Crown Victoria Taxicabs of the 1990's, Chevrolet Caprice Taxicabs of the 1990's, Chevrolet Caprice NYPD Specials of the 1990's, a Mack U-700, and anything else you can spot.
