stampede1975 ![]() | Would you have any clips from the older episodes. I remember there was one episode from 1994 Las Vegas when the officers have siezed a guy's brand new Mustang GT convertible cause he used his vehicle in a drug sting. |

IRT_BMT_IND ![]() | I only have episodes 25-31 of season 20 (I downloaded them on Bittorrent). |

taxiguy ![]() | Knowing this show, they'll most likely act like a druken hillbilly as if they have no sense of dignity and self-respect whatsoever ![]() |
2008-09-09 00:18 |
Neptune ![]() | Most of the time they run like hell … and its funny to watch (sometimes) |
2008-09-09 00:20 |
taxiguy ![]() | I've never really found it funny, it just makes me embarassed to be an American, as many things do these days ![]() |
2008-09-09 00:21 |
Neptune ![]() | I don’t feel embarrassed (and neither should you) Do you act like a drunken hillbilly? I would hope not (and I don't think you do) I sure don’t act like one. You can’t help how irresponsible someone else acts. You just have to take the high road and be more civilized. I do feel sorry for the men and women of law enforcement who have to deal with America’s delinquents. -- Last edit: 2008-09-09 00:34:41 |

ford_guy ![]() | It's a bit of a shame you think that way taxiguy. The US may not be perfect, but I'd say that us American members here are pretty well off, as are you (well, you're not living on the streets, now are you?) As Neptune said, you can't help it when others act that way. it's just how they are. You should be proud and represent our country positively instead of feeling ashamed about it. ![]() And yeah, well...law enforcement can sometimes be a nerve-racking job... -- Last edit: 2008-09-09 00:42:28 |

taxiguy ![]() | I don't wish to get in a big political/moral/ethical disscussion, but let me just explain my previous comment here. The thing is, many aspects of the American society and culture (not to mention many of the types of people) I really don't approve of at all, and many of these things do not exists in other areas of the world, or at least exist to a much lesser extent. One thing is the "bigger is better" mode of thought, which goes for pretty much everything in the US: cars, houses, food, any type of material posessions really, not to mention, ahem... certain parts of the male and female bodies, if you catch my drift. It just seems greedy and cocky to me (no pun intended). And ford guy, you say we are "well off". Well you see, that's just the thing. Some of us are a little too well off if you know what I mean. I don't think it's right that some people are sitiing in their half-a-million dollar mansions with a brand new Rolls-Royce in the driveway, while others are out on the city streets searching through a dumpster for something to eat. I prefer to think of myself somewhere in the middle (though much, much closer to the dumpster divers) Say what you want, but I guess in a way, I would be more suited to a communist society with these type of beleifs I have ![]() |

ford_guy ![]() | Well this certainly has the potential to spiral out of control ![]() But that's fine, you have your opinions, I have mine. This isn't something that could really be discussed here to well anyways so I'll leave it at that. |
2008-09-09 01:09 |
Neptune ![]() | Apparently everything has the potential to spiral out of control as my fist comment ... ... was a silly statement from the song they play during the show. (I was expecting Ford_Guy to say something funny in response ... )I didn’t however expect taxiguy to be so pessimistic ![]() |
2008-09-09 01:20 |
ford_guy ![]() | They'll run, and then they'll threaten to kill me after I throw them in the car... It's always a different reaction. |
2008-09-09 01:38 |
Skid ![]() | I don't, considering all-too-often it's the law enforcement officers themselves that are the delinquents. Some of the crap they get away with is just amazing. |
2008-09-09 01:50 |
ford_guy ![]() | I don't see the logic in that veeble fetzer, they're the main cars in the show. What can happen is that they can be grouped together based on year range so that there won't be so many Crown Vic pages on the show. But I really don't see your logic given how prominent they are in the show. | 2009-01-26 19:45 |
ford_guy ![]() | I added six captures I have from season one and identified them as such by adding the abbreviation "S1" since I don't know the episode numbers. | 2009-07-01 04:15 |
IRT_BMT_IND ![]() | IIRC, the "proper" way would be use an "xx" for the episode number (01.xx) -- Last edit: 2009-07-03 06:30:05 |

ford_guy ![]() | Thanks, I changed them ![]() |
2009-07-06 02:41 |
Ford_Guy ![]() | Similar cars, especially the police cruisers, would be relegated to one single page. There's no need for multiple Chevrolet Caprice or Ford Crown Victoria pages. To be honest, I once tried adding episodes for this show but I decided against it. Too much work. There's simply too much to add. | 2013-01-05 05:46 |
cko ![]() | If I can find out how to capture screen shots I'd get pictures of cars that play a notable role in the segment (cars used in drug busts, prostitution stings, etc)but I wouldnt know the episode number. | 2013-01-05 06:55 |
Sandie ![]() | Looking at the pic of the Camaro, as a first measure, crop it down so that it is just the raw image (none of the white background) also select hide annotations on the YouTube video (it's the first option on the left beneath the video viewing pane) and select large player or full screen viewing (so that the images are not too small). If you use the large player be sure to resize down to say 640px wide. -- Last edit: 2013-01-07 00:17:32 |

cko ![]() | Sandie, thanks. I'm still figuring out how to use some of the features.I'll try it again. | 2013-01-07 01:58 |
G-MANN ![]() | Some of these 1 |
2013-07-30 20:50 |
G-MANN ![]() | Davez621, I know you're new here, but out of the 3 vehicles you've submitted, 2 of them are just random parked cars and in a reality-type program like this we want to try and avoid that and stick to vehicles that are either used or connected to what's happening. Because if someone tried to list parked/passing by cars in all the episodes of COPS, there would be thousands of them. But the Harley looks like it might be OK to list ![]() |
2013-09-29 20:55 |
officeri ![]() | I uploaded a lot of Impalas from 2000-2005, mostly police ones, when they are approved, let me know if there are corrections needed. -- Last edit: 2014-07-05 00:51:13 |
2014-07-05 00:34 |
walter ![]() | officeri > all the Impalas you provided should be put in one page only as they're all the same model. So make only one page with the best shot of the car and the other ones can be put in comments once this is validated. | 2014-07-06 12:46 |
antp ![]() | The unmarked one could have its own page, but indeed all the identical marked ones should be regrouped together. | 2014-07-07 17:26 |
OfficerI ![]() | I left the unmarked blue one and the marked Pittsburgh one in separate pages. -- Last edit: 2014-07-07 21:48:12 |

antp ![]() | I valided them | 2014-07-11 16:37 |
MisterZ ![]() | I'm not sure these new shots were even worth adding - it looks like they were taken by holding a camera up to a TV. Can that even be accepted on here? I've never seen it before. | 2014-07-12 18:10 |
Gamer ![]() | It can be accepted - just look at Gomsel's contributions. EDIT: Gomsel saw what I wrote and thought I insulted his contributions, even though I was just giving an example. -- Last edit: 2014-07-14 16:35:43 |

mike962 ![]() | isn't this REALITY TV which you wanted to avoid here ??? and is it really worth keeping, all the cars are common everyday ones, absolutely nothing special !! |
2014-07-12 18:30 |
Lateef ![]() | ^ says the one who doesn't think a Merkur Scorpio is anything special ![]() Anyway, Cops is really well known all over the world, and cars play a great part in this show. |

2014-07-12 20:40 |
Lateef ![]() | You might think that, but there's more to it than that. They were specifically converted and sold for the US market. Not many were sold in the USA compared to Europe, and they're therefore rare. The most delightful cars to spot in a movie are those that seem common at first, but turn out to be the blatant opposite. -- Last edit: 2014-07-12 21:11:28 |
2014-07-12 21:10 |
mike962 ![]() | I would rather say it's most delightful something like this excavator which only 2 sells adverts on www is everything you find about it or the company "Nemag" so even if you know what the make and model is you find as good as nothing about it... now this kind of vehicles take real patience and some luck to solve /vehicle.php?id=562586 -- Last edit: 2014-07-12 21:35:08 |
2014-07-12 21:34 |
OfficerI ![]() | Yes exactly, the Impalas mostly appeared in the older episodes, which is why I wanted to add them. If you feel against it, i'm sorry. |
2014-07-12 21:55 |
OfficerI ![]() | I'm sorry you feel that way, I don't have the screen shots on my computer and tried to make the shots look to the best of my ability. The cars are still identifiable. |
2014-07-12 21:58 |
antp ![]() | These were probably seen a lot in this show, and it was just two pics, I supposed it was ok for once. This show is on the limit between what we accept and what we don't, behind rather well known. If we do not accept new entries it should rather be deleted than kept as it is. |
2014-07-14 15:55 |
Lateef ![]() | The rule about 1-star vehicles is rather against random traffic vehicles and poorly visible ones, while these two are neither of the case. | 2014-12-27 12:09 |
johnfromstaffs ![]() | If this rule were to be applied it would mean somebody spending hours deleting RTs and RMs in London street scenes, and as for the Crown Vics........ |
2014-12-27 12:33 |
MisterZ ![]() | Ordinarily I would agree, except in this case, we have over 500 vehicles on this page and growing. As such, I don't think 1 star vehicles have a place on this particular page, unless they either relate to the story, or are out of the ordinary - a Chevy truck and Plymouth van are the exact opposite. Remember, this is a reality show - there aren't meant to be any background vehicles. I thought the rules were pretty clear and not flexible? -- Last edit: 2014-12-27 13:11:50 |
2014-12-27 13:06 |
Neon ![]() | You're right, indeed. Common background vehicles on a show entirely filmed on the road could be avoided | 2014-12-27 14:31 |
Lateef ![]() | I don't know, vehicles this visible are hard to not take any notice of, regardlessly. And there does seem to be some minor connection to the plot, I mean - the first one, that guy being interviewed is standing directly beside it (could be his) and the second one, the officer seems to be approaching the house this Voyager is parked in front of, and there are some guys seen leaning on it. They are not "ordinary traffic vehicles", as such. I think there was a reason as to why these were listed in the firstplace. But if you only aim to list the vehicles directly involved, go for it. Having this page "fully" completed is not impossible, it's just dreadfully time-consuming. -- Last edit: 2014-12-27 18:16:33 |
