rjluna2 US@dsl: :hello: Ratio seems to be squashed  2013-03-16 19:39
dsl SXI agree, but don't know what to do about it - I mentioned it in my opening comment above before I posted too many pictures but no-one responded. The ratio is exactly the same as my original source (so the captures are the same proportions as when playing the film through onscreen in VLC). 2013-03-16 20:31
Sandie SXClick on the set picture link, select Re-use current picture as source and enter 1.66 in the third box under Recompress/resizing. I've re-done the Cougar and first three cars alphabetically this way to test.

dsl SXHelp! Something's going wrong. I tried that with the navy pickup page, but nothing changed onscreen. So I deleted the page and started it again (no-one had put down any comments) - and now it's gone totally weird - /vehicle.php?id=580790 . 2013-03-16 20:58
Sandie SXI have no idea how that happened, what I did was:

dsl SXThat's what I did too (or at least what I think I'm doing), but every time I try to do that to a posted picture it collapses. So I've gone back to VLC and switched ratios from default to 16:9 and taken new captures for the navy pickups onto a new page /vehicle_580803.html and put a new capture into /vehicle_580745.html . How do those look for ratio? If they're OK I'll carry on posting new stuff with the new settings, but as only rjluna2 and I noticed anything wrong until now, I'm not going to risk causing ham-fisted havoc to existing posts (my technical envelope is fairly small here [Image: smiley-gen155.gif] ). 2013-03-16 21:38
dsl SXThanks for the encouragement - I've been saying some naughty words in the last few minutes. Have redone the navy pickups again /vehicle_580803.html - do these look OK now? 2013-03-16 22:09
rjluna2 USThe navy pickup truck looks alright, but I think the method you worked with at the last thumbnail shown here http://pics.imcdb.org/10314/vw08-34b.jpg looks much better. 2013-03-16 22:12
dsl SXIt was the same method.... my screen seems to retain the old image unless I refresh it a couple of times or close the page and then reopen it. 2013-03-16 22:44

Ddey65 USOne of the two pics of the '57 Chrysler also includes a 1956-57 Lincoln.

And this is a 1964-66 Chevy Van:

rjluna2 USCar 169 looks like 1953 Chevrolet One-Fifty Special to me due only trim around the car. 2013-03-18 01:52
