salvation	The current series of this has been rather disapoitning in terms of the reloaction to the Ace Cafe and only having VBH and that random guy. I think Tom Ford seems to be best 'presenter' out of all of them as he seems to enjoy his job whereas i get the impresion that others are playing up to the camera.	2006-12-14 14:50

dragonboy	@ heartbreakkid. Now that this is in the complete part, no doubt youll soon be in here checking all the new numberplates and adding the DVLA info. Please dont do this unless the info and the car its on don't add up, that way its somewhat interesting. If the numberplate says what the car is, there's no point.	2009-09-18 11:41

dragonboy	Fifth Geea has apparantly been axed, although it hasnt been officially confirmed on the website or by the team. And article appearead in the Daily Mail that the show had been cancelled. Although i usually call the mail the "Daily Fail" so am skeptical.	2009-10-20 15:25

dragonboy	Yeah , its good that theyre gonna show fifth gear but it still wont be new stuff. I was just starting to enjoy it after doing the last two seasons and was looking forward to a new one, its such a shame. Im not blaming top gear cos i love that one, but it is partially since thats jsut a force that you cant reckon with and fifth gear was always the second place finisher.	2009-10-25 08:20

stronghold	I recently sorted out some dvd's of recorded episodes and came on here to check what episodes have already been done. The episode listing was in a mess! The end of season 10, all of season 11, season 12 and part of 13 all had incorrectly listed episodes (All episodes contributed by Coopey and admittedly episode 13.01 by me) It's taken me about an hour and a half to edit/sort them out. Hopefully it's all correct now and easier to find an episode you're looking for. There are several episodes I can now do captures for, which haven't been listed here yet.	2009-12-01 16:31

ingo	Any discussion about any deeper sense of this programme is obsolete. It's just the not authoritative opinion of an absolute not authoritative clown-freak. The only audience, who is interested in it, is very similar to Cobra 11: stupid little boys from the bottom of social classes without any real knowledge about cars. dsl	I like Fifth Gear more than Top Gear, but the differences are not major. FG is Channel 5's cheap-and-cheerful attempt to rival the big budget success of TG and they keep trying new formats and features without getting much viewer ratings success on a much smaller TV channel. Their car tests are more useful about whether the car is worth owning, and they do have some quirky investigations into themes such as car safety in collisions and running old diesels on chip fat. They don't wreck cars as often as TG (probably because they don't have the budget). Vicki Butler-Henderson is better eye candy than Jeremy Clarkson, but has an irritating snorty chuckle which she does far too often. Summary - tries to be TG and aimed at the same audience, but has some differences and a slightly better emphasis on the cars rather than the personalities. Ingo's summary is a bit cruel - where will the next generation of imcdb enthusiasts come from without this type of programme to capture their interest?	2010-10-02 12:54

dragonboy	Atom, thanks for asking, i worked on season 21 and other seasons since season 15. I added as many cars from 21.09 from the Power Big Meet feature that i thought were plenty visible enough and worth adding. Ididnt think any of them were to be given the two star rating.
