| Kowalski | Are you sure this is a movie from 1996? The Mercedes ML-Class was released due 1998 and the Citroen Pluriel was launched in 2003. |

antp ![]() | It is not a movie, it is a TV series that started in 1996 and that is still being continued. Seeing the episode number on the C3 Pluriel for example, you can know that it is not from one of the first episodes -- Last edit: 2005-12-01 10:03:51 |

Alexander ![]() | It would be nice if it is possible to give the start and end date for a series in the way IMDb does. I tried that for M*A*S*H but failed. |

antp ![]() | The year is stored currently as an integer number, that's why you can only put a valid number. Would it be OK if I add a "end year" field? Or I could convert the integer field to a text field, since we do not really need to do math operations on that field actually... -- Last edit: 2005-12-11 11:55:40 |

Alexander ![]() | As I thought. I think that is the best. You can keep the first year field as it is and check for consistency (i.e. possible years). The second can be a text field that contains the second year or 'still running'. Not really.... ![]() |

antp ![]() | Actually it could be used for a search if I add more options in the search page; e.g. be able to specify that you want movies with year greater or lower than a value. But that may work on text fields too, I'll test that locally before doing the change on the site. |
