And here i was hoping since top Gear oz was brand new that it would be the first show that i could finally contribute photos, but alas, all cars have been covered, even the stuff in the news and their board which even Top Gear hasnt got done. | dragonboy | Posted some better quality images of the M3, RAV4, X-Trail and GT-R in the forum since they show more of the car or are of better quality(not blurred). stronghold  | You will never get to be an admin if you never contribute anything to the site.! You have to add a load of pictures/captures to the forum contributions or... be Very good at identifying lots of different vehicles, before you'll even be considered to become an admin. So far you have done neither and think just by turning up on the site you can become an admin.! I'm affraid it doesn't work like that. |

| dragonboy | I don't expect to be one straightaway, i'm just a tiny bit sour cos i was excited for a brand new show that i could finally start adding pics, and the Australian version of top gear no less, only to be turned down by someone practically saying "i can do it myself so don't bother" and as i said, putting them in the forums would just be a waste since he has that power. And i haven't only just suddenly turned up expecting everything to happen at once, ive been here for about a year and ive had my moments in identifying things here and there, so i haven't done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING as you accuse. What i think would be fair to a lot of people who are ready and willing with pics of every car in an episode almost as soon as it has finished airing, is to at least let them be able to add pictures to the site without having to go through the forum. I'm not saying make them complete admins (you'd have to have an encyclopedic knowledge of every car make, model, and year otherwise your not good enough)but at least allow them to add the pictures. -- Last edit: 2008-10-07 04:24:35 |
