| Misteraverage | Yeah, I agree with Kowalski, the film was crap. And I also feel sorry for the Mercedes-Benz. It was a very new and gorgeous S-Class W140. It didn't deserve such a sad fate at the end of the chase. STUPID GEORGE CLOONEY! WHY THE HELL HE HAD THAT STUPID IDEA TO CRUSH THE POOR BMW?! The black BMW 5-series E28 were old cars from the 1980's and they were already in bad shape, even so, I still felt sorry for the BMWs althougnh they were old, they are nice cars. They didn't deserve such sad end... If it was supposed to do a car chase, with Luxury cars, then why they didn't use something that doesn't give any remorse, such as Citroen XM, Peugeot 605 or Renault Safrane. These were bad cars and I wouldn't fell sorry if they were destroyed. |

| Misteraverage | I Only hope you are kidding...the Mercedes S-Classs is a MUCH BETTER car than an XM and it was sad to see that beautiful car being blown up... OK, the Citroen XM ain't THAT bad - But let's face it: It was a an Expensive, Complicated and terribly Unreliable. Even so it was European "Car of the Year" in 1990, because at least it was an advanced car for its time. The S-Class W140 was the Last of the True quality Benzes, before the company bought Chrysler and slided into the American Mediocriocy of saving money. So, since you like the Citroen XM, I wonder what of these cars, you would prefer to see destroyed instead of the Mercedes S-Class and the BMWs: In my opinion...the chase scene would be less painful to watch if... Instead of a Merc, Clooney could have driven a grey Range-Rover "The original one" previously 1994 - and the baddies were driving black Volvo 240 .gif ":)") that would be fun...Or... Clooney driving a grey Audi 200 and the baddies were driving black Saab 900 from the first generation model (you know, the first one? made from 1979 to 1993) or maybe... Clooney driving a Grey Jaguar XJ6(1986-1994), the baddies driving a Black Opel Omega A(first car to be pushed against the store, when the Merc reverses from the hideout), black Alfa-Romeo 75 (second car: pushed against a restaurant and then blow-up at the end) and black Volvo 740/760(1985-1994) (Third car: Reverse and chops the roof-off). That would less painful to watch...I wouldn't mind to see an old Volvo, Opel, Alfa-Romeo, Land-Rover, Jaguar or Audi to be crushed. .gif ";)") |

| Misteraverage | So, you really like the XM? OK then...taste is taste...Personally, I don't hate it - I just never really loved it. Sure it was innovative when it first came out, but the poor reliability was huge letdown. As for the Unreliability, Citroens always were Unreliable cars - And the XM was no exception. Trust me, My father had one (1995 XM Hatch V6) too much problems always something wrong. At least, the car was "quirky"...:) The Citroen XM is a future classic. I Also like the Saab 900 - I just said that, because the older Saab 900 built from 1979 to 1993 has a Stealth aspect. It really is a "Badass" Car. - I really like Saabs! Even though GM is ruining them, turning Saab in a borish American money maker - In other words, GM is slowly turning Saab into an American brand, making boring unexciting car, just to save money. Red Grant  | I heard this story that since United Artists picked the BMW instead of a Mercedesfor Goldenye, this chase was made out of revenge. The Bimmers were not only trashed by the Benz, but the Mercedes was shown to be very reliable, while the BMWs were very unreliable.
