| stronghold | I don't see the problem of rating the trailer.? Maybe this film (among the millions yet to be listed here.!) ..may never be seen fully or placed on the site.? In that case isn't it better to have some idea of the vehicles involvement in the film ..Than No information At All.? If you can see a car in the trailer ..in a car chase or driven by a main film-star ...you know that the car is at least 3-stars (..If found later that it is more than 3-stars ..once the film is watched fully ... it can easily be adjusted.!) For a car that is only seen in a film trailer that is in the background (not moving or doing anything.!) ..it should still be 1-star (until proven otherwise.!) ..or 2-stars if seen driving along/used briefly in the trailer by a main star (example ..a police car speeding along to a crime scene etc..) As you are complaining of adding star ratings for trailers...Here's my complaint... I have often seen movies and car names added to the site with no pics or details (...from among others ...your predecessor) ... which are often ..Not even found in the movie after being watched.! (Why include movies ..and cars from movies ...that haven't even been watched.? ...and there is No proof of their featuring in the said movie.!) ..There are movies from the past I can remember with great cars ...but I would Not add them ..without any real proof or details.! |

| antp | Due to the length of a trailer, the importance of the car is not a really relevant information. You mention "rating the trailer", but except the comment on the movie page it is not visible that it is a rating from the trailer  Maybe it would be better to put for example "trailer" in the time-tag field? So somebody that arrives on the vehicle page without visiting the movie page has that info too.Anyway, I agree that vehicles without picture nor rating should really be avoided, but on the other hand having like for this movie lots of cars rated as 2-star where some are maybe much more important looks quite strange. And a 1-star car of a trailer may actually be a 4-star that was at that time only in the background  Well, if you think that it is better to do it that way, I have no objection. I'd like to have the opinion of other admins by the way  |
