Although they were most possibly introduced around 1968, it is known that in 1970 still cars with "suicide doors" were delivered to customers (perhaps last ones). 1970 as 1st MY for "non-sucidie" doors is more safe choice. EDIT: new infos it seems that despite of non-suicide doors introduction, the version with old doors was still produced for a while in parallel, what might explainthe deliveries mentioned above. All of this makes year 1968 a better choice. 1st model with non-suicide doors was the so called "M" version, type 100E.1. -- Last edit: 2020-05-24 15:50:16
