Alexander ◊ 2007-04-10 13:15	A model of this one is available by Tamiya: http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/35275light_armored/index.htm but I cannot find a proper name or manufacturer. The info texts states that development started in 1997 to replace the HMV Hayate and the Type 73 SUV, which have poorer armour.

Jun ◊ 2007-04-10 16:35	Alexander is right They are named only "kei soukou kidousya"(=Light Armored Vehicle in english). Manufacturer is Komatsu and was disposed to the JGSDF from '02. I think "Light Armored Vehicle" is better because japanese name is confusing for many people, and broadly known & introduced as "Light Armored Vehicle". *cf. /vehicle.php?id=77673 (about "type" & "gata")
