Yes, this should be a 1948 Nash; an Ambassador, and not a 600, because of the longer rear end of the front wing http://oldcarandtruckpictures.com/AmericanMotors/Nash1946-1959.html . I once had a neighbour who restored a 1947 Nash 600, and I remember him at one time complaining that he had found a set of Ambassador front wings, and hoped not to have to make them short enough to fit on his 600. I was most impressed with his work as he started with a wreck found in a forrest, and it had been sitting there for some 20 years. It became to be a very nice car. |
