Probably had rust issues. I almost bought a 2007 GT Cruiser (only difference was it had 230hp as opposed to the base model's 160 hp) that looked just fine on the surface aside from one or two plastic panels that had warped and a soda can-sized dent in the roof thanks to an icicle, but the rocker panels were so badly rusted my dad barely touched and his finger broke through. Since the UK can be quite a humid and wet place, there's no doubt that was the case here. |
